So, apparently Brent and I talk on the phone enough so that Mary knows what to do with one. Her favorite toy, our old Motorola Rzr or however they spell it, goes with her everywhere. And now I find that she brings it up to her ear and says "hi" into it. Seriously. I documented it for those who do not believe me.

It is too cute watching her "talk" and "listen" on the phone. She looks so serious.

Also, our homemade barricade is no longer effective. Mary has discovered that she can crawl underneath her excersaucer, probably thanks to Tiggy who does just that to get into the kitchen. Sigh, she's getting too smart for her own good. There is no place safe from Mary's grabby little hands. I guess it was going to happen sooner than later.

For those of you who didn't know, my right hand is all whacked out. There is this rather large bump on it and it's been that way for about a month. I finally went to the doctor and after a few xrays, much poking and prodding with a needle to take my blood, a bruised up left hand and new meds for migraines, they discovered...nothing. So this Friday at 6 am, I go in for an MRI. 6 am? Gah, that's early. I don't know how long it'll take to get the results from that, but yeah. That's that. I will keep everyone posted on what happens with that.

One bitter drug dealer

So as some of you may know, I, along with many at the Pharmacy, were getting ready to participate in a 5K run for Wasatch Mental Health. Today was the big day. Brent even decided to join Mary and me last minute due to Jodi's convincing. She said that 1. he'd be done with enough time to make it to work at 11:30 (which he did) and 2. they'd have an awesome breakfast, which they did. There was lots of fruit, pasteries, breakfast burritos, etc. And we even braved the tempest we call Mary when we have to wake her up early. She was not a happy camper as I got her bundled up for the cold weather. (the run was along Provo Canyon. I thought I'd be ok in a tshirt and was dead wrong. Luckily for me I had a sweater in the car. Brent however, not so lucky.)

Alas, the day had to go wrong somewhere. As Brent is getting the jogging stroller ready, he looks down and notices one tire is completely flat! Well, not a problem we thought, because we had a little hand pump for emergencies. Nothing doing. There was a hole in it. ARG! So with minutes to spair, we decide to bust out the umbrella stroller and just walk the 1 mile walking trail (which was a different one than the run). It was sad because I wanted to join in with our group and be all out of breath and tired from the run. Brent and I just had to deal with it.
What's funny is that the people in charge did not have the 1 mile trail marked. We walked from the start, which was at Provo Canyon Park, or Canyon View park, whichever it's called, all the way to where the trail kind of ends at 800 N in Orem. There was no marker, so we had to turn around and go back, finally running into a bridge that looped us to the start. Brent looked at his watch and realized that we had been walking (with me jogging, though I had to stop often so not to leave behind Brent and Mary) for almost an hour. Some 1 mile walk that was. It was closer to a 5K walk. We should've just gone with the rest of our group. Oh well. It was still fun.
And if you're wondering as to the title of this post: Jodi got Costco to sponsor us, so we got awesome Orem Costco Pharmacy shirts that said "Drug Dealers on the Run" on the back. Mary even got one! (though Brent didn't. Like I said, his decision to participate was last minute, as in a day ago or so).
Here are some pictures to look at it. I am warning you that I am not at my best. I wasn't anticipating just the walk, i was thinking I would be running, so there is no make up, the hair is crazy, plus I was freezing and irritated at our situation. The only reason these pictures even exist is for my parents. Otherwise there is no way in h -e-double hockey sticks I'd let anyone take a pic of me.
That's Mira on the left and Ally on the right. I think I should point out the fact that Ally is in fact YOUNGER (by 5 days) than Mary. Though you'd never guess since she's like almost a head taller than Mary.
Mary was completely dead by the time we got home. Our poor little mini, she had an exhausting morning!

just a few new pics

So, once again, my friend Heather in the Pharmacy got a little something for Mary. She is too sweet to our little baby girl, always surprising me with fun girly things to spoil with. So I took the opportunity to kill two birds with one stone: say a thank you to Heather while showing Mary off in the dress and taking a picture of me to appease my parents!

this is Mary being a shy girl for the camera, though I don't know who she's trying to kid

Also, here's Mary with Daddy, somewhat jealous because Tiggy is occupying his lap. Of course once she spotted the camera, she was ok. Then she was dancing and wiggling with all her tiny might for me.

Then we found Tiggy trying to capture our attention by squeazing into a shoe box. It was too cute. So here's a little picture in honor of our tubby kitty.
So, that's all for now, see you next time!
